Class Descriptions:

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT):   HIIT is training in which low to moderate intensity intervals are alternated with high intensity intervals.  HIIT training will help accelerate fat loss and improve endurance – yielding fast results in a short period of time.  This is a great exercise for people looking to burn fat or for athletes who need to improve performance.

Tone & Pump:  A strength and conditioning class that focuses on all major muscle groups consisting of 7 sets of 3 exercises.  Each exercise is performed for 50 seconds, focusing on one muscle group at a time with a power round of all 3 exercises.  It’ll keep you burning calories for days!

Step:  A series of simple combination steps on and off a box to create an entire routine that can be performed by anyone, regardless of their fitness level.  A fun and motivating cardio workout!

Step with Resistance:  A combination of Step with Tone & Pump. Get a killer strength & conditioning workout from Tone & Pump training combined with the cardio workout of Step.  This is a fitness challenge worth taking!

Kickboxing Combo:    Boxing– Put your gloves on and hit the punching bag as you jab, cross, uppercut, hook & kick your way through a calorie burning cardio workout.  This is by far the most empowering and fun class you will ever take!

Zumba:  This class features Latin rhythms and easy to follow dance moves.  It’s a dance exercise class like no other.  You’ll be motivated and inspired with this dance party atmosphere!

Absolute Abs:  Focusing strictly on your core this class will help you tone those abdominals and burn belly fat.  Hourglass figure – here I come!

Yoga:  Beginner & Intermediate Yoga teaches correct alignment, postures and breathing.  As you advance, postures and sequences will require a bit more strength, stamina, and flexibility.  A great class for everyone who needs more flexibility & core strength!

Gentle Yoga will focus on improving your range of motion and stretching.   Chairs will be available with modified movements for members who are unable to sit on the floor.

Power Yoga  is a vigorous class which focuses on increasing flexibility, strength, endurance and balance.  Classes will vary, sometimes having a flow, other times exploring longer holding of poses.  The room may be heated above average temperature.  Prior experience is helpful but not necessary.  New students should expect a warm room and be able to set their own pace.  Inversions & arm balances may be part of the class
